 How I Came Out
I always new that I would never be with a man, from as far back as I could remember I loved everything about women. I was a popular girl in school I had lots of friends always around me, I was even on the cheerleading squad but my friends would never have been my friends if I told them that every time that they were getting undress I was getting hot, horny and wet just looking at their bodies.
As I made my way through high school I dated a few guys it just seemed like the thing to do and I thought I would give it a try but guys never really turned me on no matter what they did to me or for me.
After high school I decided I was going to go to college away from home anywhere that I could be myself and explore my feelings. I was about five hundred miles from home going to school, working and even living on my own towards the end of college. I had many friends and many new friends that were lesbian as well. I met most of my new girlfriends at a local club for women. I only knew that this was a singles bar when I first went but after a while I realized that most of the people there were gay.
Because I had never dated another woman before I was scared but excited at the same time. After I had been out with this woman three times and I realized how much she had changed my life I was ecstatic!
I share everything with my mother so one day when I couldn't take this little secret any more I called her up in the middle of the afternoon and told her about my date where we went, what we did and that I liked this person so very much and then I told her it was another woman. She didn't hang up on me, she didn't cry, she only asked me to be sure of my choices before making any commitments to who ever I thought I was in love with! She wanted the best for me no matter who I was in love with and what I did - my mom is the best. She even took on the task of telling my dad who has never mentioned anything to me about my lifestyle or my choices but I think this is just his way. He accepted Lori as my girlfriend and even comes to visit us now.
Things are great not that I have come out of my closet - life is good!
